Call for Proposals

The 2020 Research Symposium is an opportunity to present your research, knowledge, creative works, or other academic endeavors to students, faculty, department chairs, and the extended NNMC community.

What is a Virtual Poster Session?

The Poster Session is an open forum where a student’s work (or student group’s work) is displayed as a poster. Each student will present a poster in approximately 5 minutes. A Q&A session will follow where participants can ask questions via chat.

Proposal Requirements

Along with presenter information, all proposals must include the following: 

• Title
• Short Description
• If your proposal is chosen, you will be asked to submit your poster along with copyright permission to display your poster online.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, all proposals must meet the following criteria: 

• Proposals must be submitted online by the deadline date.
• Proposals should be approved by the sponsoring instructor.

Proposal Deadlines

• Deadlines for all submissions is May 12, 2020.

Evaluation and Acceptance

• Poster Session participants are required to submit a short description (up to 250 words) using the submission portal.
