Represents an effort to implement an affordable and/or no-cost digital textbook initiative with the goal of lowering course material costs for students,
Simultaneously increases access to resources and maintains high quality curriculum and instruction,
Partners faculty with Distance Education instructional designers, Quality Matters (QM) experts, and library staff to implement OER resources as well as ensure the redesigned course meets all QM course review requirements,
Pilots a method for Distance Education to convert courses to the new Blackboard platform (Ultra), and
Will inform a tiered approach to bringing the entire campus through the project.
