Kaltura Media is the video management platform powering any video experience for NNMC online courses. Video is becoming an essential tool for online teaching and learning experiences. Kaltura allows faculty to foster more interaction and engagement. With Kaltura integrated into Zoom and Blackboard, faculty can enrich their video content and improve educational equity.
- My Media is your personal media storage repository where you may upload and manage your media content. From the My Media area you may edit your videos, manage captions, create clips from your videos, delete videos, publish videos to the Media Gallery.
- Media Gallery is a central location within each course, where users can search or view rich media assigned to the course. Only users enrolled in that course will be able to view the media assigned to the Course Media Gallery.
- Shared Repository is a shared media repository where faculty can browse, search, watch and use media shared by other faculty members. Instructors can assess all Kaltura video tutorials via the shared repository.
- Kaltura Capture allows you to record videos on your personal computer and then easily share them with your anyone. After a quick download and installation of the app, Kaltura Capture can record anything on your computer screen, along with your voice and webcam.
- Kaltura Express Capture enables recording content directly from the browser without the need to install any additional software. It allows you to use your webcam or audio devices to record video and audio from your browser.
- Kaltura MediaSpace is a college cloud-based media portal where you can create, store, and share media content.
Instructors can add, organize, and remove the video, audio, and image files while preparing the content for students.
